Description

5.11 Tactical Kilt Multicam for Field Wear

This 5.11 tactical kilt pairs a layered camo print with the pockets and snaps that field wear demands. It follows the cut of a traditional kilt, with a flat front panel and pleats at the sides. Every detail points toward carrying gear and moving freely. If you want a kilt that works on the trail and off it, this is built for that.

A Layered Camo Print for Mixed Terrain

The print blends tan, brown, olive green, and cream in overlapping shapes, large and small. No single color dominates, so the kilt does not read as one flat block from any distance. That mix suits dry grass and dirt as well as green scrub. It also hides dust, mud splashes, and small stains better than a solid light color would.

Cargo and Hand Pockets at the Hips

Large flap cargo pockets hang on both hips. The base of each pocket is pleated, so it expands when you load it. A slash hand pocket sits above the cargo pocket at the hip. Between the two pocket types, you can separate quick-grab items from bulkier gear. Keep a wallet and keys in the hand pocket. Carry gloves, a notebook, or a small tool kit in the cargo pocket.

Snap Front and D-Ring Belt Loops

Snap studs run down the front panel, so there are no buckles to adjust or snag. Tab belt loops at the waistband carry snaps too. Small D-rings hang beneath the front loops. Clip on keys, a carabiner, or a small tool and keep them off the pocket floor. The loops also take your own belt if you want extra hold at the waist.

Room to Move

The pleats sit at the sides, so the front and back panels stay flat and clean. Climbing, crouching, and stepping over obstacles are easier when no leg seam pulls across your knees. In warm weather, air moves freely around your legs, which helps on long days outdoors.

What to Wear With It

Pair it with boots and socks for a clean field look. On rough ground or in cold weather, wear shorts or a base layer underneath. A plain tee or work shirt keeps the outfit simple and lets the camo do the talking.

Where It Fits

Hikers, campers, hunters, and outdoor workers will get the most from this layout. It also suits festivals and everyday wear if you like the tactical look. You will find it in our tactical kilts range. If you would rather have a solid color than camo, our 5.11 Tactical Kilt in black is worth a look. Give us your waist and length when you order, and the kilt is made to those numbers.
