Description
LGBTQ Pride Kilt With Rainbow Sunburst and Progress Colors
A rainbow that radiates across the apron, Progress Pride colours at its heart, and rainbow pleats that open up as you walk. This pride kilt is made to celebrate who you are, loudly and proudly.
Progress Pride Colours, Reimagined
The rainbow flag first flew in 1978, and in 2018 it gained new stripes of black, brown, light blue, pink, and white to represent people of color, the trans community, and those living with or lost to HIV/AIDS. This kilt brings those Progress Pride colours into a fresh design. In the top corner of the apron, arcs of white, pink, light blue, brown, and black form the center, and rainbow rays of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple fan out from them like a sunburst.
Rainbow Pleats All the Way Round
The colour doesn’t stop at the front. Around the back, the pleats alternate between black and bright panels of orange, yellow, green, and purple. Standing still, you see stripes of color. When you walk or dance, the pleats swing open and the rainbow moves with you. The black base has a subtle geometric print that adds depth without competing with the colors.
Pockets That Match the Design
Each hip carries a pocket designed to match the kilt. The top is orange, the flap carries stripes of white, pink, blue, brown, and black, and rainbow stripes run below. A silver snap closes the flap, keeping your phone, wallet, and keys secure through a long day at a parade or festival.
Finishing Details
Orange belt loops and contrast stitching tie the waistband into the colour scheme. Silver snaps close the waistband and apron. It’s a practical build underneath all that colour, ready for a full day on your feet.
Where to Wear It
Pride parades, Pride Month events every June, festivals, drag shows, LGBTQ+ weddings, and nights out with friends are all perfect for this gay pride kilt. Allies are welcome to wear it too. A plain black or white t-shirt lets the colours shine, and bright accessories or rainbow kilt hose push the look even further.
It sits in our hybrid kilts collection. For a classic rainbow look with black, see the Pride Rainbow Hybrid Kilt. If you’d like your pride in a traditional tartan, the LGBT Tartan Kilt is a great choice.
